PubDesking for pub owners

PubDesking is a directory and desk booking service for daytime desk space in pubs across the UK. Pubs are independent businesses, and the desk is provided by the pub.

What PubDesking does for your pub

Find your pub and claim it

Many pubs are already in the directory, from public data. If yours is one, claim it. Claim only a pub you hold the licence for, or are authorised to list.

  1. Find it. Search the directory for your pub and open its page.
  2. Claim it. Choose "Claim this pub". You will be asked to log in or create a free landlord account first.
  3. Tell us about it. Give a phone number and email address, how many desks you can offer, and any amenities. A description, a website and a note for our team are optional.
  4. We review it. Your claim is sent to our team for review. We will email you once it has been approved or rejected.
  5. It is yours. Once the claim is approved, your pub is added to your dashboard and you can add packages and edit your details.

If your pub is not in the directory, list it yourself using the steps below.

What you set when you list your pub

Listing a new pub takes five steps. Nothing is saved until you press the button on the last one, and you can change everything later.

  1. Details. The pub's name, address, town and postcode. A phone number, email address, website and description are optional.
  2. Hours and desks. Opening hours for each day, or closed, and how many desks you can offer, from 1 to 50.
  3. Amenities. Tick what customers will find: WiFi, power outlets, a quiet space, food, dog friendly. All are optional.
  4. Packages. Add one to three. Each has a name, an optional description, a price in pounds and the number of hours it covers.
  5. Review. Check everything, then list your pub.

Questions pub owners ask

Does PubDesking take payment for bookings?

No. PubDesking takes no payment. The price shown is the pub's price, and customers pay the pub directly in the way it asks. A booking is confirmed at once.

Does it cost anything to list my pub?

A listing is free to create. PubDesking takes no payment for bookings, so the price a customer pays is set by you and paid to you.

Who can claim a pub?

Claim only a pub you hold the licence for, or are authorised to list. You need a landlord account to claim, and each account is one type, customer or landlord.

What happens after I claim a pub?

Your claim is sent to our team for review. We email you once it has been approved or rejected. Once it is approved, your pub is added to your dashboard and you can add packages and edit your details.

Can a customer cancel a booking?

Yes. A customer can cancel free of charge from their account at any time before the booking starts. If you cannot honour a confirmed booking, contact the customer as early as you can.

Can I remove my pub from PubDesking?

A venue can only be removed when it has no upcoming bookings.

Is the information on my listing right?

Some listings come from public data, and details may be out of date. A landlord who claims a listing is responsible for keeping its own details accurate.
